It's been a little while so we wanted to share an update about our beautiful Elsie Mae ❣

Back to Crumlin Hospital yesterday to see the doctors with my little Warrior 😍 all very positive feedback they are happy with Elsies results and please God the end is in sight. Keep her in your prays that we have no hiccups during this last cycle of chemo cant even imagine what it will be like post Cancer but we are blessed to be here 🙏

Was brilliant to see the hospital taking such good C19 precautions with security everywhere was like entering prison. This coronavirus has taken so much from all but with restricting easing I am just saying please we all still have to do our bit to stay safe especially for our vulnerable 💜

December 2018 v December 2019 💕

What a difference a year makes!

Although it still has been a year of ups and downs this lil Warrior Princess is still smiling and fighting hard 👊 She is an absolute inspiration to all of her family and everyone that knows her 💖

Elsie Mae still has a way to go but we are so blessed she is doing so well 💕

2020 is looking bright and as this year ends we would like to thank everyone for all the continued support and well wishes for our girl and also we remember all of the warriors that have passed this year and their families 💔

It's been a while since we posted but today is a really big day and we had to share ~

29/08/2019 Elsie Mae's 1st day of preschool 💕

She has missed so many things but today she gets to experience this milestone just like other children, it's about living the best life possible and enjoying the small wins 🥰

We are beyond proud of this little warrior princess who is taking everything in her stride even though she is still going through so much, she rocks!!!

Elsie Mae update

"This day last year we heard the dreadful news that our little Elsie Mae had cancer she was 2 years old and our world ended in that instant in that small room in Mullingar hospital. I just remember wanting to run away and escape that room, I was in total denial I was physically sick in the car park and couldn’t breath and poor poor David he was far worse he couldn’t help me because he was broken himself in that moment he aged a life time. It was a hell of a year and I have no idea how we did it but I am celebrating today our little girl is here and she’s so full of life and spirit so funny and wild as a brush ‘Our Little Firecracker’ the daily doses of Chemo still make her very sick but she’s in such good form we are almost scared to say life is a little bit normal again ❤️ I am also celebrating the people who have walked this path with us our amazing family & friends, our colleagues, the strangers, the Nurses & Doctors, Barretstown Aoibheann's, Pink Tie, the people that sent cards, gifts, holy relics, for all those prayers candles and FB messages they absolutely got us through those dark days.. but today is a celebration of life and Better things to Come ❤️ "

Barretstown is an amazing place and a life line to families with sick children and a few months back the Scally family were asked to share there story to help other families going through the same journey.

It is nearly a year since Elsie Mae's diagnosis and what a whirlwind it has been for her and her family, Barretstown have been such a support and Team Scallywag want to thank them from the bottom of our hearts 💕
