Offaly Dyslexia group We provide workshops for children aged 6-18 with Dyslexia.

We provide support to families of children who have dyslexia and run workshops for children with dyslexia.

This morning on Ireland AM our CEO Rosie Bissett advocated for the importance and value of the Irish Exemption for young people who have learning differences.

She explained the challenges of learning languages for dyslexic young people and the importance of teaching phonics in the classroom when learning any language.

As our 25/26 workshops come to a close for the year, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made them such a success. It’s hard to believe how quickly the year has gone by!

To all of our students — thank you for your hard work, enthusiasm, and commitment throughout the year. You should be very proud of everything you have achieved.

A sincere thank you also to our tutors for their dedication, encouragement, and support week after week. Thank you to Tara whom I’d be lost without.

Thank you to Jimmy in Tullamore Further Education & Training Centre.

And finally, thank you to all the parents who continue to recognise the value of these workshops and support your children in taking part. Your encouragement and commitment make a huge difference.

We hope everyone has a wonderful break, and we look forward to seeing you again in September.
