Yesterday evening in the Bridge House Hotel Tullamore Lions Club handed over a cheque for €30,000 to L***A. This was the proceeds of the very successful golf classic that our Club ran in New Forest recently. Our President Alan Hand thanked everyone for their hard work in organizing the event, the sub committee chaired by Michael Casey, all the members who got teams and sponsorships, John Lyons for his Trojan work with the raffle, all the members of L***A who worked so hard along side our club and the Bell family for hosting the presentation in the Brewery Tap. On behalf of L***A Jackie Winders spoke about all the amazing work Laois Offaly Families for Autism do and what this cheque means to them. Jackie was genuinely shocked with the amount handed over and she was so grateful to Tullamore Lions Club.
It’s when you see a charity like L***A so thankful for this donation it gives everyone in our Club such pride to be involved in such a great organization. We would like to thank Darragh Bell for his photography and the Bridge House Hotel for sponsoring the refreshments 🙏🙏
We would again like to thank everyone who supported our golf classic and your generosity will help so many families in the Laois/Offaly area who have children with autism.

Big year ahead for our club and our new President Alan Hand.

Event held in Kinnitty to mark handover of chain of office

We had our handover meeting last night in Giltraps of Kinnitty. Dymphna Bracken handed over the Presidency to Alan Hand. We would like to thank Dymphna for her trojan work in the last 12 months. We would also like to wish Alan the very best of luck with his year ahead. All in all we had a wonderful night and we would like to thank Elenor Clendennen and all her staff in Giltraps for their wonderful service and hospitality. 💚💚💚

Last Thursday we held a very successful Golf Classic in New Forest Golf Club We had a huge number of teams participating on the day. We are very grateful for everyone who played in the testing conditions. The course was in magnificent condition and we would like to thank the staff and management of New Forest who looked after us so well. We also got huge sponsorship support of our event and for this we are very grateful. We also ran a very successful raffle alongside our classic and again we really appreciate all the support we received for this. This years Classic will see all proceeds going directly to L***A. It was a pleasure to work with all he crew from L***A. They do amazing work and we know the proceeds of the event is going to a very good home. We have the list of winners listed below also. 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

A huge thank you to Les and all the staff in Galvins For Men for displaying the prizes for our upcoming raffle. The draw takes place this Thursday night in the Brewery Tap. Tickets are still available from all members of Tullamore Lions Club and L***A We will also be selling them in the Bridge Shopping Centre this Thursday. Thank you again for your continued support. We’ve some very exciting news! The wonderful team at Lions Club Tullamore are hosting a Golf Classic in aid of L***A this June! ⛳️👏

It’s set to be a fantastic day out at the beautiful New Forest Golf Club in Tyrellspass, Co. Westmeath. We’re so incredibly grateful to the Lions Club for choosing to support our families. All proceeds from the day go directly toward helping us provide services across Laois and Offaly. 💙
