Women's Wellness Group – Summer Planting

This month's Women's Wellness Group will focus on summer planting. Join us as we plant vegetable seeds, herbs, and flowers, and learn how to care for them throughout the summer months. This coincides with our usual Womens Wellness Group - a safe space for women to share and connect and explore living with and beyond a cancer diagnosis.

Whether you're new to gardening or have some experience, everyone is welcome.

We look forward to seeing you there!

What an incredible achievement by everyone involved in Tullamore Stage Schools “Summer Sounds” 🎶💜

We were absolutely honoured to receive a phenomenal donation of €5,000 from the talented students, choirs, staff and wider community of Tullamore Stage School following their wonderful “Summer Sounds” concert on 15th May. Featuring an amazing cast of over 140 performers, young and old, the evening showcased a fantastic variety of songs and tremendous community spirit.

A very special word of thanks must go to Regina McCarthy, whose unwavering support and dedication over the past three years has helped raise an incredible total of more than €14,000 for Dóchas Offaly Cancer Support. Regina’s kindness, commitment and continued belief in our work means so much to everyone in our organisation and to the families we support every day.

To every performer, organiser, volunteer, supporter and audience member who contributed to this wonderful event - thank you for your generosity, talent and community spirit. Your support truly makes a difference 💜

We’re delighted to share the arrival of new equipment for our Physiotherapy Programme, delivered and installed by Scott Medical. The guys had some job getting it in and installed but they did it with a smile and top notch service 💙

The equipment will form part of our supervised group-based physiotherapy exercise classes led by Chartered Physiotherapist Cathal Egan of Assure Physiotherapy.

This investment significantly broadens the range of prehabilitation and rehabilitation supports we can offer, helping us provide both strength-based and cardiovascular exercise in a safe and supportive environment.

We are extremely grateful to the Tullamore Credit Union Community Support Fund for their generous funding support which made this possible, alongside our own initial investment in the programme.

This is another important step forward in enhancing the supports available to people attending our services. 💙
