Best wishes to our friends at Accessible Counselling Tullamore for this evening’s James O’Connor Memorial Walk.

Taking place this evening, Friday 9th October, from 5pm–9pm at Tullamore Harriers, this special event celebrates the life and legacy of James O’Connor, a giant of a man who left an incredible and lasting legacy through founding Accessible Counselling Tullamore.

From all of us at Dóchas Offaly Cancer Support Group, we wish everyone involved every success with this wonderful event

🌿 Cancer Related Fatigue – Information Session 🌿

We are delighted to welcome back Dr Naomi Algeo to Dóchas Offaly Cancer Support Group on Thursday, 19th of November at 2pm for an information session on Cancer Related Fatigue.

Dr Naomi Algeo is a Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist in Cancer Services at St. James’s Hospital and has a keen clinical and research interest in Cancer Related Fatigue.

Dr Naomi will explain the different patterns of fatigue and share practical information on the principles of energy management.

💚 Who is this session for?

This information session is open to anyone living with or beyond a cancer diagnosis, as well as family members and carers. A family member or carer is also very welcome to attend on behalf of their loved one to gain insight into managing what can be a debilitating part of the cancer journey.
