This is what happens when a community comes together to make dreams a reality 💚

Ideas turn into plans.
Plans turn into teamwork.
And teamwork turns into something our kids, our neighbours, and our future selves will be proud of.

The other night reminded us of that again. When we show up, listen, support each other, and believe in the same vision, amazing things start to happen.

A dream on paper becomes a path in the park.
A “someday” becomes “we’re doing this.”
Because this isn’t just about a project. It’s about us.

Thank you to everyone who’s giving their time, energy, and belief. The best is still ahead.

What a night! 👏

Thank you to everyone who came to last night’s community meeting about the Cortoon Lavally Community Park

It was an incredibly informative evening where we shared the progress to date on the park. Huge credit to the Committee for an outstanding presentation - the vision, the plans, and the work happening behind the scenes really showed what we can achieve together for our community.

We were also joined by a few esteemed guests who gave us their full support and pledged to help however they can to make this project a reality in the very near future. That encouragement means the world to us.

A massive thank you to everyone in the community who attended, asked questions, and sent in such positive feedback already. Your support is what’s driving this forward.

This park is for all of us - walking track, playground, biodiversity garden, all-weather astro and more to come. Let’s keep the momentum going! 💚

The Cortoon Darkness Into Light Walk is happening Saturday, May 9th. We’re meeting at Brownsgrove Pitch at 5am to walk together as the sun rises.

Every step raises hope and vital funds for Pieta, supporting su***de prevention and mental health services in Ireland.

All ages, all abilities, all welcome. Bring your friends, family, and your yellow t-shirt. Let’s light up the morning together.
