We are having a fantastic day at Headfest!
We are set up at the Craft & Food Fair at the Marquee, please stop by and say hello. The fair has an amazing selection of jewellery, paintings, knitted items and lots more to choose from.
The food fair has just opened, with a huge selection of foods representing the 44 different ethnicities in the Headford.
Thank you to everyone that supported the bucket collection at Headford Livestock Mart & Property Sales this morning. The local farmers were extremely generous as usual.

Later today at 3pm, the Headfest Truck & Tractor Run will be leaving from Headford Mart. Registration is €30 per vehicle and all proceeds will be going directly to Tuam Cancer Care.

If you would like to support the Truck/Tractor Run but are unable to come along today, you can donate through the link below

We are really looking to this event!

One of the firm festival favourites at Headfest every year is our Food & Craft Fair — and behind the scenes there is a huge amount of work, planning, and dedication that goes into making it happen.

This year we are delighted to welcome so many wonderful food stalls and talented craftspeople to Headford for a fantastic weekend celebration. A special word of thanks goes to the man behind the scenes, the ever-dedicated Ray Jacques, who has long been at the heart of organising the craft fair.

🗓️ Saturday & Sunday
⏰ 10am – 4pm each day
📍 Monaghan’s Mega Marquee

✨ This year, Saturday’s fair will also feature a special Multicultural Food Fair hosted by Headfest in partnership with Solas Family Resource Centre.

With over 44 nationalities now living in Headford, this event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the diversity of our community through food, crafts, music, and culture. Visitors can enjoy home-cooked dishes from different cultures alongside the fantastic local craft fair.

The multicultural event takes place on Saturday, 30th May from 10am to 4pm, with music, dancing, flags, jerseys, and cultural traditions all encouraged.

The Food & Craft Fair continues as normal again on Sunday.

This event is funded by LEADER through Galway Rural Development.
