A great way to bring our 25/26 term to a close for the summer with our Trim Red Cross Youth in at the Zone in Navan go karting and bowling.

We are incredibly proud of this group of young people and feel very fortunate to have each of them as part of our Branch.

It has been a pleasure to be part of this youth group and to watch the friendships, teamwork, and camaraderie grow throughout the year. The progress the kids have made has been fantastic to see, and their first aid skills continue to impress us all.

Wishing you all a well-earned summer break — enjoy every minute, stay safe, and we look forward to welcoming you back in September ❤️

What a great day our Youth Members had at the Trim Haymaking Festival over the weekend, with the sun shining on the Porch Fields all day ☀️

A big thank you to the Haymaking Festival for having us and giving our youth members the chance to demonstrate some of their lifesaving skills and chat with other young people about what they do in the Red Cross. It was lovely to see them representing the branch so well and encouraging others to get involved.

A huge thanks as always to our senior members and leaders who give up their time to support, mentor and help develop our youth members as they progress through the different clinical levels in the RC, we really appreciate everything you do.

We’d also like to say a special thank you to Barry from Hudson Funfair for his kindness in giving the youth free tickets for the rides. They had an amazing time and were absolutely delighted.

And not forgeting all the other vendors who gave them lots of treats on the day.

A huge thank you to Edel for so kindly inviting our Red Cross Youth members down to Trim Garda Station for such a memorable visit. The evening gave the kids a fantastic opportunity to see first-hand the incredible work the Gardaí do every day to support and protect our community.

From the informative talk to the guided tour of the station, it was both educational and enjoyable from start to finish. The children were fully engaged, asked lots of great questions, and had an amazing time experiencing something so different and inspiring.

We really appreciate the warm welcome and the time taken to make the visit so special. It is an experience the kids will be talking about for a long time! Thank you again to Edel and everyone at Trim Garda Station for such a brilliant evening.

A huge well done to our Youth Group who proudly took part in the Trim St. Patrick’s Day Parade today, showcasing the life-saving skills they’ve been learning at our branch. 👏🍀
