The Bernard Brosnan Work Experience Scholarship Programme offers young adults with Down syndrome the opportunity to learn, grow and shine in a real workplace environment at Deenagh Lodge Tearooms.

Participants build confidence, independence and practical employment skills while working as part of a supportive team in the beautiful surroundings of Killarney National Park. Through hands-on experience, new friendships and meaningful responsibilities, the programme helps participants discover their strengths and take important steps towards future employment and greater independence

Enable Ireland (Kerry Services) is delighted to be one of the beneficiaries of the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle for 2026! As a beneficiary they need to help them out on Saturday 4th July.

Helpers are needed in Cahersiveen, Kenmare and Killarney. They would also welcome volunteer support along the ROK route for support with logistics and manning of water stations.

Kerry County Council is delighted to confirm that lifeguards will be on duty at 12 of Kerry’s 13 Blue Flag beaches from this weekend for the June Bank Holiday, with full coverage at all 13 beaches from the beginning of July ❀️

A team of 43 fully trained lifeguards will be working across Kerry beaches this summer to help keep beachgoers safe πŸ’šπŸ’›

Kerry County Council is delighted to confirm that lifeguards will be on duty at 12 of Kerry’s 13 Blue Flag beaches from this weekend for the June Bank Holiday, with full coverage at all 13 beaches from the beginning of July.

πŸ‘¨β€βœˆοΈ A team of 43 fully trained lifeguards will be working across Kerry beaches this summer to help keep beachgoers safe.

⚠️ Please remember:
βœ… Swim between the red and yellow flags
βœ… Lifeguards are only on duty during designated times
βœ… Supervise children at all times
βœ… Never swim alone
βœ… In an emergency call 112 or 999

ℹ️ Maherabeg Beach will remain without lifeguard cover until the full complement of lifeguards is available.
