A new garden show starting on TG4 this Sunday where Mary Reynolds has designed a native ARK (Acts of Restorative Kindness) garden for 6 properties around Ireland.

These garden are all about native plants and woodlands which encourage our wildlife to return to our gardens. This is all about biodiversity and looking after our pollinators and the plants that they need to thrive and survive.
It’s about letting nature take its course and for us to be guardians of our gardens, to look after our patch of earth.
Here is a link to the trailer for the show which starts this Sunday at 8pm and then each Sunday after that for the next 8 weeks.
The show will highlight properties in Donegal – one in Fanad and one on Arrainn Mhor Island, one property in Di**le, one in Wexford and 2 in Dublin.

A number of Tidy Towns that helped out with some of the gardens, and this shows how important community is.

Bring a hi-vis and your favorite gloves—we will have some if needed.
Planning on 2 hours but if you have limited time just come for what you can.

We had 33 tables and an amazing figure of € 2,100 was raised on the night - with further donations still coming in.

This money raised will go towards our annual costs in 2026 of circa €1700 ( for grass cutting , plant renewal, compost, mulch, Christmas decorations and others expenses as they occur)

We the Tidy Towns committee are very grateful and appreciate your financial support - without this we could not continue.

We would very much welcome new volunteers / ideas - so maybe 2026 is the year to get involved 💪🏻
