Bansha Community First Responders

Delighted to have received a Cathaoirleach Award on behalf of the dedicated volunteers of Bansha Community First Responders. It is a huge honour for us to be recognised for the voluntary contribution our group makes to our local community, serving Bansha & surrounding areas. We couldn’t do what we do without the generous contribution of our volunteers for all they do directly providing the service in the community and all the behind the scenes work they contribute, the co-ordination of the service by The National Ambulance Service (NAS) & CFR Ireland, the training and certification bodies Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (Phecc) & The Irish Heart Foundation, Dublin , access to grant funding from Tipperary County Council Tipperary Cahir Cashel Municipal District amongst others, and generous donations from our local Community. Bansha Community First Responders are a true example of people in the community being there for their community. ❤️🚑🏥

We’re delighted to share that Bansha Community First Responders have been selected to take part in the Tesco Tipperary Town Community Fund! 🎉

If you’re shopping in Tesco Tipperary Town, keep an eye out for the blue tokens at the checkout and please consider putting your token into the Bansha CFR box!

Great Evening at Golden/kilfeacle GAA for The Festival on the Suir field evening. Well done to all who tried out our CPR challenge. Looking forward to announcing details of upcoming training courses in Golden soon. ❤️🚑🏥

We’re delighted to be attending the Golden/Kilfeacle Festival Field Day this Friday evening! 🚑❤️🏥
Come along and meet the team from Bansha Community First Responders. We’ll be showing the basics of CPR and how to use a defibrillator — simple skills that can truly save a life.
You’ll also have the chance to sign up for our upcoming Free Irish Heart Foundation Heartsaver course and learn more about the important work we do in the community.
We’re currently hoping to expand our coverage area into Golden, so we’re also looking for new volunteers to join our responder family. If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, we’d love to have a chat with you.
Drop by, say hello, and learn something that could make all the difference one day. Looking forward to seeing you there! 🚑❤️🏥

Wishing the best of luck to our neighbours in Tipp Town with the setting up of Tipperary Town Community First Responders. They are having a meeting on Tuesday 25th November at 19:30 in the Community Centre on Michael's Street. The more CFR Groups we have the better we can help serve our communities. 🦺
