Last evening we were joined by our friends and colleagues from Ballyporeen/Skeheenarinky C.F.R for a training night on the new CFR App.It was a great opportunity to explore the new app that is coming down the line for National Ambulance Service (NAS) callouts, however it was tinged with sadness as we said goodbye to our Community Engagement Officer Patrick McCarthy ,Pat has been more than a CEO to our groups ,he has been a great friend and a true gentleman, his committment and dedication to the community first responder network ,its development and the support and guidance he has given to us as community first responders would be impossible to measure,no issue was ever too big and Pat was always at the end of the phone at anytime and nothing was ever a problem. We were delighted to make a small presentation of our gratitude to Pat on behalf of both groups and share a chat and a laugh with the customary cup of tea and cake thanks to little miss cakes by Ciara Lonergan ...We wish Pat and his family every success with his new business ,Go raibh mile maith agat Pat agus go neiri an bothar leat ..
