The Rosemary Dementia Café recently enjoyed a wonderful visit to Ballysloe Community development group/Ballysloe sensory garden/tidy towns. It was a lovely afternoon.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the staff at Ballysloe Sensory Garden for their warm welcome and hospitality. The delicious tea, freshly baked scones, and beautiful cakes were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.

Seniors Alert Scheme (SAS)
The Seniors Alert Scheme (SAS) is designed to assist individuals aged 65 and older by providing them with a monitored personal alarm system. This system offers eligible seniors the ability to live independently and securely in their homes, offering them reassurance and peace of mind.
Funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and managed by Pobal, the scheme provides access to vital safety equipment through local, community-based, voluntary, and not-for-profit organizations that are registered with Pobal to administer SAS.
To learn more about the program and find out how to apply, contact Millennium Family Resource Centre your local registered organization.
For further details, you can also visit the official SAS page:
www.pobal.ie/programmes/seniors-alert-scheme-sas/
Or email: [email protected]
This initiative is made possible through the generous funding from the Department of Rural & Community Development, with equipment provided via trusted community organizations.

The Seniors Alert Scheme (SAS) has been established to encourage community support for vulnerable older people in our communities.
