🔥 Thursday night torture… and the lads keep coming back! 😂💪

Another great Heated Kettlebells session tonight with Performance 24, in collaboration with Connect 4 & Killinarden Running Club.

After Lee put us through it last week, it was Ste’s turn tonight — and safe to say he didn’t disappoint! 😂🔥

Tough session, plenty of sweat, plenty of laughs and a great atmosphere as always.

Brilliant to see the lads turning up week after week and sticking with it. Whatever Ste is putting in the kettlebells, they keep coming back for more! 😂💪

Another session done. Another few muscles questioned. 😂

As we approach the first anniversary of the official launch of *Love Is Not Enough: Families’ Journeys through Addiction*, we are looking back at the people, stories and support that helped bring this important book to life.

On 29 September 2025, more than 100 people gathered at Tallaght Library to celebrate the book and support the families whose lived and living experiences shaped its pages.

Written by family members supporting loved ones affected by addiction, the book was created in partnership with the HSE, GamblingCare and the Tallaght Drug and Alcohol Task Force through a safe and supported therapeutic process.

The book was officially launched by the wonderful Andrea Hayes, marking a significant achievement for the Families of WASP community project.

The strong turnout sent a powerful message: family voices deserve to be heard, and no family should have to face addiction alone.

The launch took place during Recovery Month because recovery extends beyond the individual. Families also need understanding, specialist support and opportunities to begin their own healing.

As we approach this important anniversary, the stories in *Love Is Not Enough* still matter—and so does every family carrying a similar story today.

Today in CARP, Killinarden - an amazing charity tattoo event organised by the wonderful Nicola Fennell & friends suppiryed by James Kelly manager at CARP alongside hus brilliantteam if staff, raising funds for the Irish Cancer Society & CARP addiction recovery.

All proceeds will help people affected by cancer with practical supports like transport to treatment.

Missed the tattoo? The event was hugely supported by the community, but you can still enter the raffle - draw takes place this week. Revolut link & QR code in post.

Thank you to Shamrock Rovers F.C. for the donation of a signed jersey in support of recovery month.
This jersey will be raffled on Friday the 25th before 5pm.
All previous tickets that were bought will be included in the draft.
