🌟 A Special Visit to Golden Age at Glenview Lodge 🌟
We were delighted to welcome the Mayor of South Dublin County, Independent Councillor Francis Timmons and Councillor Samantha Duff to our centre this evening.

It was a pleasure to have the Mayor spend time with us, meet some of our wonderful members, and see first-hand the friendship, conversation and community spirit that make our evenings together so special. 💛

We would like to thank the board of Trustus for their support who were represented on the night by, Charlie O’Connor and Councillor Alan Edge who helped make the evening even more special.

A big thank you to Mayor Francis Timmons for taking the time to visit and for showing his support for our community, and to everyone who joined us for such a lovely evening! 🌟

Today we say a very fond farewell to our much-loved carer, Marie Jacob, from our Kilmeague Day Centre. ❤️

Marie has been such a valued member of our team, bringing kindness, warmth, laughter and so much care to our clients and colleagues. She will be greatly missed by everyone at the centre. 🥰

We are so proud of Marie as she leaves us to follow her passion and take the next step in her journey. We wish her every success and happiness for the future — she deserves it! 🌟

🚨 We’re Hiring – CE Supervisor 🚨

Are you passionate about supporting people, developing potential, and making a real difference in your community?

Trustus Senior Care is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Community Employment (CE) Supervisor to join our team in Tallaght.

In this rewarding role, you’ll help manage our Community Employment Programme while supporting participants to develop their skills and opportunities, contributing to the delivery of high-quality services for older adults.

Essential Requirements:
✅ Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience
✅ Major third-level qualification (NFQ Level 6 or higher) in Business/Financial Administration, Training, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related discipline
✅ Full driving licence

💶 Salary: €743.49 gross per week (Point 1 of the salary scale)

📅 Closing Date: Friday, 21 August 2026 at 5.00pm

Today, 4th August, our clients from Whitestown Way Day Centre enjoyed a wonderful outing to the beautiful Palmerstown House Estate palmerstownhouseestate

With stunning views, great company, and exceptional hospitality, everyone had a truly enjoyable afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, and wonderful memories.

A huge thank you to all the amazing staff at Palmerstown House Estate for your warm welcome and outstanding hospitality. Thank you for making it another fabulous afternoon for our clients – it is always so appreciated.

💛 At Golden Age at Glenview Lodge, we’re about creating a happy, healthy, and supportive community where everyone can thrive.

We believe in the importance of keeping active, staying strong, eating nutritious food, and keeping the mind engaged. Looking after our physical and mental wellbeing helps us stay independent, confident, and connected.

Here are some lovely photos from this evening’s fun exercise class. Emily made the class fun and energetic. There was lots of laughter, encouragement,
as everyone enjoyed moving together. It’s wonderful to see our members supporting one another while building strength, boosting confidence, and making happy memories.

Last Saturday, we had a wonderful fundraising day, and we are incredibly grateful for the generosity and support shown by the Tallaght community. Your kindness and encouragement truly made the day a memorable one.
