The Day we met Števko - We met this little legend just after we arrived in Rehabilitačné centrum Natália Hlohovec!! We had been presented paintings from Centrum Natalia the day before in Bratislava. He was one of the little artists and he happened to have a therapy sesison on the day we visited ... it was soooo good to meet and thank him in person! I promised him a cycle jersey when we met and he finally got his hands on it last week!!! We think he likes it 😀🙌 I know he's looking forward to reading this update... so thank you Števko - enjoy, keep cycling 🚴‍♂️, keep learning English and reach for the stars 💫🙌😀🇮🇪➡️🇸🇰

Milan and his crew from Street Food Service Slovakia and Paul from Kepak Foodservice are absolute class acts 🙌👌! We had never met these guys before but through a random conversation with Fergal in a pub in Sligo they were onboard! Paul cycled the length of Slovakia with us 💪🚴‍♂️ and Milan provided great support - both helping us reach our goal for the charities! Last week Milan and his food trucks rocked over to Rehabilitačné centrum Natália to provide food (free of charge) at their annual summer event for the children and their familes 🙌❤️ pure class gents 👌 take a bow👌 go raibh míle maith agaibh 🙏

Dad, 70, cycled 2250km across Europe for his Granddaughter Saoirse and her children's centre 💛💙! A big part of any epic endurance event like this is eating and drinking right...he definitely nailed 1 of the 2 😆👌 ... Niall, Fergal, Gavin, Eva, Paul and Sano all had a go at it too 😆 but nothing compares! 🍻 Sláinte agus Na zdravie to Dad the Legend Grandfather ❤️🙌

Fortitudine Vincimus - By Endurance We Conquer

Chest infection, ear infection, antibiotics, steroids (not the Lance Armstrong ones 😂), swollen knees, injured achilles x2, bruised legs, callused hands, sore bum bums 🍑, loads of sudocream 🙌, sunburn, insect bites, bike falls x2, relentless rain, bike problems, night cycling, terrible drivers, floods, missed meals, dirt roads, potholes, Belgian cobbles, getting lost, closed roads and a collapsed bridge (+ way way more than this!)

You've all seen the lovely pics and terrible puns...it wasnt all sunshine 🌞 and rainbows 🌈 ... it was physically grueling, exhausting and mentally tough! Averaging 130km per day carrying our own gear!

That makes the completion of the challenge all the more satisfying!
