Today, we present our latest report to Government as part of the Alliance of Age Sector NGOs.
“Taking Stock: Is Government Keeping Its Commitments to Older People?” takes an in-depth look at the progress — and gaps — in implementing policies and commitments relating to ageing and older people in Ireland.
Now in its third edition, the Alliance’s annual Report and Scorecard reviews the extensive range of commitments for our ageing population set out in key Government publications and examines the progress made across a range of policy areas.
The report highlights where commitments are being delivered, where progress remains limited, and the areas that require continued attention to ensure older people are fully supported to live healthy, independent and fulfilling lives.
We are proud to be part of this important collective effort to keep ageing and the needs of older people firmly on the national agenda.
