Our Yeats U14 Girls had their penultimate League game away to Real Tubber this morning- Yeats again with just 12 available on the day.
Yeats maybe shaded possession and play to a extent in the first half, but on a pitch that was difficult for both sides it went in scoreless at tge break.
Tubber got on the front foot for a good spell in the second half and went ahead about 20 minutes in through an Emily Brennan strike - a deserved lead to an industrious side at that point.
Going behind re-energised the Yeats girls and with a little reorganisation they started to get back into the game. They were level with about 10 minutes left on the clock - a good finish from Laina McCormack making it 1-1. 7 minutes later Naoise Ward flashed in the winner off a good ball from Joy Flanagan, and Yeats held on well for the 2-1 win.
Yeats play Ballisodare next in the final game of the season.
