✨Why We Chose Our Charities ✨

We deliberately chose charities that support people right here in our region, ensuring that the funds raised stay local and help those who need it most.

To give you an idea of how these funds are used, North West STOP-Suicide Prevention has shared some statistics with us — and they are truly eye-opening. The range of age brackets seeking support is overwhelming, reminding us that struggles can affect anyone, at any stage of life.

It’s important to say that reaching out to Northwest STOP is not just about feeling suicidal. Their service is there for anyone who needs support — whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, low, under pressure, or finding that life is simply getting too much. Reach out to them or The G.R.A.S.P. Life foundation for support.

Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out and talk to someone. Support is available, and you don’t have to face things alone.

We’re proud to support organisations that make such a meaningful difference in our community. Thank you again to all who helped us to help people in need.

It’s been an incredible journey once again, and we couldn’t be prouder of what’s been achieved together.

🎉🚜 The Final Count Is In… 🚜🎉

Wow. We are absolutely delighted to announce that a whopping €30,970 has been raised through this year’s Sligo Christmas Charity Tractor Run and fundraising events.

From this total, we are proud to make a €5,000 donation to The G.R.A.S.P. Life foundation, another fantastic organisation doing vital work in our community.

The remaining balance has been shared equally between our two chosen charities:
✨ €12,985 to North West STOP-Suicide Prevention
✨ €12,985 to Sligo Cancer Support Centre

This incredible result is thanks to the generosity, kindness, and community spirit of everyone involved — participants, sponsors, businesses, volunteers, donors, and supporters who turned out in force.

Once again, you’ve shown that it truly takes a village — and what a village it is.

We’re currently tidying up the final bits of fundraising, with just some follow-up from the auction still to be completed. Once that’s done, we’ll be ready to announce our final total very soon. Anyone with money outstanding, please reply, we’d like to get all finalised.
