Hi there, this is Anita's grandson, Luke, typing this. Since Anita's passing I'd been trying to keep this page active, but as things went from worse to worse, along with everything else happening with the animal rescue, I'd found it hard to keep up with all of this on my own.
First and foremost, I can't begin to thank you all enough for the amount of support you'd shown my grandmother in the time she was keeping the Animal Rescue going. It was her life's passion, and it was the most important thing she'd wanted to do with her life. Everyone who'd supported her, and this page, made sure she got to give the best life to animals that a lot of society had given up on.
As things went from worse to worse after her passing, we were no longer in control of anything that she had previously set up. We'd wanted to carry the torch she'd passed on to us, but fate sent us on a different course.
The animals that were left have found a better life, and better families, since. That has been the biggest relief for the two of us.
In the New Year, I really hope you're all doing well, I really hope that this New Year treats you all well, and I wish all of you the most amount of Happiness you can achieve in this New Year.
