Hi Guys, hope your all having a nice day. So every year around this time. In memory of my little girl I try to spread the magic of Christmas. By showing love and kindness.
I've met some amazing people along the way. If you take a look a the page you will see. Far to many to mention but you know who you are. This year I've decided to do something a little different.
So the older generation the ones who thought us so much, with their wise old tales and memories of long ago.
They kept our country running through each recession. Passing traditions that are important to each generation. Alot of them had different ideas of retiring and growing old. They thought they would be surrounded by loved one.
Instead some of them are trapped in their own homes/nursing homes all over the country. With very little people allowed visit them over the last 18 months. Some are scared to leave their homes for fear of catching covid. When covid came it brought sickness and loneliness hand in hand causing them such heart ache. They have passed down little traditions from each family member to the other.
But now I think its time to give back. Back to our own mothers and Fathers if they are still here. Without them where would we be.. If not have a look at this picture below. What a lovely thing to do. I've worked in a nursing home and I've also had to visit my Dad in a nursing home. Its hard from both angle. Wouldn't it be lovely to send a gift to our forgotten generation. Let them know they are important and thank them for the effort they have put into everything they have done for us and future generations throughout their life time.
