Service users from our Howth and Portmarnock services recently attended an Onsite Workshop: If Things Could Talk at the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks. This was a hands-on workshop where attendees handled and learned about items from the museum in the creative hub. Before our visit, we chose four subjects of interest to discover: Sport, Music, Natural History, and Fashion. The staff in the museum were really helpful, and we learned a lot about each subject, tried on some vintage clothing, handled some cool items, and even got a bit of impromptu acting in at the end of the workshop! 🙌

Huge congratulations to Antoinette and Amanda on successfully completing their travel training and now commuting independently from their homes to and from their Day Service in Piercetown every day. They should both be incredibly proud of what they have achieved. Every journey shows just how much their confidence and independence have grown. Enjoy every journey! 👏🌟🚌

Busy times for the George’s Square gang. The service users used public transport to attend Prosper Games rounders practice, which was a great success. There were lots of different services there and friends got to hang out and have fun in the sun. The gang had a picnic in Malahide and a great day was had by all.
The guys also used public transport to attend bowling in Coolock. Daragh got 2 strikes and won the overall, well done Daragh! We got the dart back to Malahide and enjoyed another picnic in the sun. 🌞🏃‍♀️🎳

We would like to congratulate Andrew Armitage from our Thomas Hand Street service on his selection for the Irish Hockey team to participate in the Para Hockey World Cup, taking place in Belgium and The Netherlands from 20th-24th August 2026. This is another amazing achievement for Andrew in his hockey journey. We wish Andrew and his teammates the best of luck in the tournament! 🏑

Toot Toot! Service users and staff from The Lodge enjoyed a trip to Malahide to celebrate some sunshine! A trip to Malahide Castle, a ride in the train (a big thank you to Michael from T***s Malahide for looking after us), finished off with a lovely lunch in Gibney's. A great day was had by all!🚂🍽🏞

Chloe, Cormac, and Denisa from our Lodge service all set themselves individual goals to see the one and only Nathan Carter! The gang, supported by staff, attended the show at Swords Castle and everyone danced the night away. A great time was had by all, and everyone is already planning the next concert! 🎫🎤🙌
