What an unforgettable day at the Lidl Farm to Fork experience for the North Street Green team! 🌱🚜
A huge thank you to Ciara who facilitated the day which created such an inspiring and enjoyable visit. The day was absolutely full of learning - we learnt where our food comes from, we saw sustainable farming in action, we made our very own butter and we even milked Daisy the cow! It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, to learn, and to build new skills to apply in North Street. I think we all came out appreciating the journey from farm to fork a little bit more! 🥕🐄

Some of the service users from our North Street Service made the most of the beautiful weather by taking their Pilates class with Vitor outdoors in Swords Castle Park.

They were also delighted to receive a visit from Community Garda Christopher during the session.

It’s fantastic to be able to bring activities out into the community and enjoy exercising in such a great outdoor setting. 🧘‍♂️🌞🏰

Our Thomas Hand Street Service users enjoyed a fantastic walk in Skerries while supporting two very important causes
The group took part in activities supporting the Very Pink Run, helping to raise vital funds for Breast Cancer Ireland.
Everyone also proudly wore blue to support EWAC – European Week Against Cancer helping to raise awareness around cancer prevention and support across Europe. It was a great day filled with fresh air, smiles, community spirit and lots of support for amazing causes. 📸 🌊🚶‍♀️ 💙🎀

Rush Advocacy Group members Glen, Patrick, Neil, Oisin and Jonathan had a meeting in Leinster House with TD Rob O'Donoghue.
The group met with Rob and his colleague Mark Boland and had a very successful meeting about accessibility issues in Rush.
After the meeting ended the group were invited to the Dáil Bar for refreshments. The group really enjoyed this.

Recently Feltrim Road service visited the Siemens Healthineers campus in Swords. Feltrim has a long standing link with Siemens having attended tours of the factory before and two service users are currently employed there.

The group had a behind the scenes tour of the factory and got some hands on experience helping to build parts for one for the blood testing machines which are shipped out worldwide. It was fascinating to see innovation in action and learn some new skills.

The group then were invited to share some of their knowledge of Lamh with the staff at Siemens. It was such a great experience to share knowledge, promote inclusion and everyone got involved with great enthusiasm. 🙌
