An Educational Trip to Drogheda

Staff and service users from our George’s Square service recently enjoyed an educational day trip to Millmount Museum in Drogheda. Our guide, Eamon, was very informative and helpful, sharing his knowledge and bringing the history of the area to life. It was an enjoyable and insightful experience for everyone who attended. 📜☘

Over the summer Howth service users completed a cookery course in SPADE enterprise centre. The aim of this class was to work on independent living skills. Everyone contributed towards what they would like to cook and preparing the visual recipes. David O’Connor in particular wanted to learn his Grandmothers soda bread recipe. This class was enjoyed by everyone and we are looking forward to the next one. Members of the class and staff put this video together to show everyone “what taking part in the class means to them”. 👩‍🍳🍳

Lámh Day 2026
Today, Wednesday the 14th of October is the 6th annual Lámh day and this year's theme is how Lamh connects us.
Feltrim road would like to share some videos showing how we use Lámh in our everyday lives.
Lámh is an important part of how we communicate, helping us to express our needs, make choices, share ideas, and connect with others.
Our videos give a little insight into the many ways Lámh is used throughout our day — proving that communication is about so much more than words. 💙

A very special thank you to everyone at the Rolestown Inn Golf Society for their incredibly generous donation of €2,000.

Our CEO, Roisin Lacey and Cheryl Judge, Deputy CEO were delighted to accept the donation from Pat Norton on behalf of the Society.

We are so grateful for the wonderful support we receive from the Rolestown Inn Golf Society year after year. It means a great deal to us to have such loyal friends and supporters in our community, and your continued generosity helps us to keep making a difference.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved for thinking of us once again and for your ongoing kindness and support. It is truly appreciated.

Have you spotted us out and about in Swords?

A big well done to the individuals from our Seatown Road Day Service, who regularly get out into their local community to litter pick and help make a difference in their area.

We’re so proud to see everyone playing an active role in keeping the streets of Swords clean and tidy! 🌿🗑️♻️
