On behalf of the Sixmilebridge and district community services and all the people who use the hall, we would like to pass on our condolences to Noleen Murphy (who does an amazing job on the upkeep of the active building) on the passing of her sister Breda Moloney.

May she rest in peace. Funeral details are below.
As a mark of respect the Crochet club is postponed tomorrow night.

On behalf of the Sixmilebridge and district community services and the Bridge Active we would like to send our heartfelt condolences to Bettys daughter Yvonne, her son in law Gerard, her grandchild and extended family on the passing of Betty.

Betty will repose at McMahons funeral home this Monday evening from 6 to 7pm. Funeral on Tuesday at 12pm in Blessed Margaret Ball Church, Whitehall, Santry and burial after to Glasnevin Cemetery.

May Betty Rest In Peace 🩷

The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Betty) Bowman nee Carr 21st November 2025. (Late of Santry and Sixmilebridge) Peacefully in Carrigoran House Newmarket On Fergus surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy (Patrick) and her sisters Agnes, Margaret, Evelyn, Judy and Mary Ann (Connor).

Elizabeth will be sadly missed by her daughter Yvonne, son-in-law Gerard, her two grandchildren Claire and Niall, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and all her friends at Carrigoran Day Centre, Bridge Active and Santry.

May Elizabeth's gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Elizabeth will repose in Mc Mahon's funeral home Sixmilebridge this Monday (24th November) from 6pm to 7pm. Arriving for funeral Mass in the Blessed Margaret Ball Church Whitehall Santry (eircode D09 TY79) on Tuesday (25th November) at 12noon followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.
