Shercock Killann Rural Development SKRD Shercock Killann Rural Development (SKRD) is responsible for the continued development of Shercock. In 2021, we also set up a Tidy Towns team.

Over the years, SKRD has completed many projects including renovations to St Patrick’s Hall, the ongoing development of Lough Sillan lake shore and playground and the planting of trees, plants and flowers around the town. The committee also manages and maintains these facilities as well as organising local clean ups in the area. If you’d like to volunteer, please get in touch. We are committed to

• Classified ads. No ads for selling anything. No MLM recruitment ads and No ads to rehome or sell animals.
• People’s photos or images, unless permission has been received in writing (by text, email, online message)

Today we say a very fond farewell to our lovely Maria Boyle, who has been a much-loved part of our Preschool and Daycare team for the past six years. ❤️

Thank you, Maria, for all the laughs, memories and for your incredible dedication to the children, families and the team over the years. You have made such a difference and will be very much missed by everyone here at Shercock Child Resource Centre.

We wish you the very best of luck in your new post and in this exciting next chapter. We know you’ll be absolutely fantastic! 🥰
