Another fantastic meeting at Shannon toastmasters last night. We had four guests attending for the first time Maria , Xavi , Sean and Mathik . Stand in president Maura Meaney opened the meeting in place of Declan Drummey. First time toastmaster for our meeting Monica Casey ran the meeting very smoothly and ensured everything ran in time . Table topic s theme was Summer holidays and best topic on the night went to first time guest Mathik who gave the audience an account of swimming in the Atlantic ocean for the first time. Timer on the night was Geraldine Lambert. Ah counter was Dennis Pender who choose mindfulness as word of the day . We had an amazing speech by Maura meaney which was evaluated by Patrick Hynes. Meeting was evaluated by GE Ann O Callaghan. Next meeting is on Wednesday 03 rd June
