Relove Fashion is a free, nationwide sustainable fashion competition for young people in Ireland. Reusing paint tools to watch celestial events? Just another day at the Rediscovery Centre.
We raided our paint workshop and turned our trusty paint sieve into an eclipse projector for the big event! Proof that almost anything can be reused if you get a little creative.
Did you try our DIY cereal box or stick to glasses? Let us know in the comments!

We are delighted to showcase our new and improved Cytech space! We have added an additional workspace so even more bike enthusiasts and upskilling technicians can partake in our Cytech Technical training. From the reservoir that used to house Ballymun’s district heating water, this space has had many lives! We have also given the floor a fresh lick of paint to tie it altogether.

Our next Cytech courses include a Technical One Practical on 3-4 September, and a Home Mechanic course 11-12 September, as well as a Technical Three course starting September 28th covering the most advanced skills such as suspension servicing and installing electronic gears .

Keep an eye on the Cytech calendar for more upcoming courses, sign up for our Cytech newsletter, and check out rediscoverycentre.ie for more information.

https://www.cytech.training/training-providers/the-rediscovery-centre/calendar/

Cytech courses encompass the basics of cycle mechanics right through to dealing with the most advanced and high-tech components and parts.

For questions, email [email protected]

We look forward to showing off this updated space!

We love reuse at the Rediscovery Centre! But sometimes, no matter how much you reduce and reuse, we have things going to the bin. Which is the proper bin for some of our most common everyday items? Let’s have a look!

📚 If you’re interested in a workshop for your school or library, our Education team runs hands-on STEM and sustainability workshops, on topics from fashion and maths to climate action and biodiversity. With facilitators all across Ireland, no matter where you are, we can come to you!
