U12 Match Report

Another brilliant battling performance on the road against a very strong Carrigaline team. The fight the girls showed in the second half was superb, especially in the tough windy conditions.

We fielded a very young team on the night against opponents who were all fully on age, but our girls never once took a backward step. Their determination, work rate and resilience were evident throughout the game.

Under the old scoring system, we would have come away with a win tonight, but with points counting double, the final result was a hard-earned draw.

A huge well done to all the girls on a fantastic team performance. A special shout-out to Anna, Orlaith, Katie, Lola Rae, Faye and Emily from our U11 squad for stepping up and supporting us on the night. Their contribution was hugely appreciated. 💚🤍

A draw that felt like a victory in effort, commitment and heart. Well done, girls! 👏 🟢⚪️

‼️U15 Imokilly League‼️

Our U15s played their final game of the Imokilly League campaign last evening, making the short trip to Midleton. With a number of key players unavailable due to Junior Cert exams and the start of holiday season, a few of our U13 girls stepped up and joined the squad.

There were some excellent passages of play throughout the game, with great effort, determination and teamwork on display from all involved. Despite a strong performance from our girls, Midleton proved just that little bit stronger on the night.

A huge well done to the entire panel on their commitment and effort throughout the league, and special thanks to our U13 players for answering the call and giving such a great account of themselves. 💚🤍

U13 Imokilly League

What an epic battle in Carrigtwohill this afternoon! Our U13 girls did Aghada Camogie so proud with an absolutely fantastic performance.

After being rocked by a few early goals and facing a significant deficit at half-time, these incredible girls showed tremendous character and determination. They turned the game on its head in the second half, battling for every ball and playing with heart, grit and belief.

Every player on the pitch gave absolutely everything, with so many outstanding individual and team performances on display. Again so much of the hard work from training was on display and it’s great to see. The girls outscored their opponents in the second half and were desperately unlucky to come up just one point short at the final whistle. Thanks to Chloe and May for stepping up from U12 to help out their classmates and friends.

Games like this teach valuable lessons, but today’s biggest lesson was simple: never give up. Our girls proved that in abundance and should be immensely proud of themselves - we certainly are!

Our U12 girls travelled to Laochra Óg last Sunday morning on a beautiful sunny day. With only 12 players to start, the girls showed incredible determination and battled hard right to the final whistle. Unfortunately, we were beaten on the day, but it was a great game with fantastic effort and spirit shown by all. Well done girls 💚🤍 Thanks to everyone who made the journey your support is appreciated as always
