Great turnout for our All Ireland Drama Festival Fringe performances over the bank holiday weekend. Congratulations to Joanne Hone on her directorial debut as well as performance debuts for some of the cast. Fantastic reception from the audience and special thanks to all the staff at Sean's Bar for their help over the last week and weekend. Brilliant space for performing our play about pub life!

Roscommon Drama invites members and curious newcomers to a day of playing and making theatre with Darren Yorke, an award-winning theatre maker and performer, founder of Grand Stretch, and a facilitator specialising in improvisation and ensemble performance.

The day will be in two parts, and you’re welcome to join one or both (though the sessions are designed to build on each other).

Morning | 10–1
Playing Fields — games, improvisation, ensemble, playing our way into make things happen.

Afternoon | 2–5
Making Senses — a director’s POV: character, relationships, story, space, style, and scene.

A jam-packed, fun-fuelled day of fearless play, creativity and performance for anyone interested in acting, directing, or theatre-making.

And that’s a wrap on 3 sold out shows and almost 600 happy audience members! The lights are down, curtain closed and sets dismantled…
Women on the Verge of HRT had them laughing in the aisles and wiping tears of sadness and joy! Thank you Roscommmon for your brilliant support and we look forward to entertaining you again later this year!
