The Parish comprises 19,287 acres spread over 48 town lands, with a population of 1,175 people. Kilbride is made up of two half Parishes, Derrane and Four-Mile-House. Each area has a Parish Council, this insures that all parts of the Community and the needs of all the people in the Community are adequately catered for and both councils come together in Parish events and celebrations.
