Creativity was in full swing at our Youth Café for ages 13–17! Our young people got stuck into a range of arts and crafts, from painting their Halloween clay creations and designing their own tote bags to putting the finishing touches on their canvases. 🖌️👜 It was a great opportunity to express themselves, explore their creativity and enjoy some relaxed time together in a fun and welcoming space. Monksland Youth Café

Our Youth Café group has been busy putting the finishing touches to the canvases they started working on last week. It’s been lovely to see everyone bring their creative ideas to life.

With Halloween just around the corner, the group has also started chatting about how they’d like to celebrate together.

Monkland Activity Group

Our activity group kicked off the Halloween celebrations by watching The Nightmare Before Christmas! The young people also got creative with some colouring, bringing pictures from the movie to life alongside some cute Halloween-themed designs.

Of course, no Nightmare Before Christmas viewing would be complete without the big debate on whether it is a Halloween or a Christmas movie?

What do you think, Halloween or Christmas? Let us know!

Monksland Music Group (13-17 years)

Our music group is doing brilliantly! Everyone is becoming more comfortable and confident with their instruments, and it’s fantastic to see their skills developing week by week.

The group has also been busy learning a song together.
