Manchán Magan - Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam

Is mór an brón é go bhfuair Comhairle Chontae na Mí an nuacht ar maidin faoi bhás anabaí Manchán Magan, scríbhneoir, craoltóir, nádúraí agus riamh go mór ar son na Gaeilge.

Chuir Manchán go mór le saol cultúrtha Chontae na Mí le linn a chuid ama mar scríbhneoir cónaithe Éire Ildánach i rith na mblianta 2022 agus 2023. Déanaimid ár gcomhbhrón le teaghlach agus le muintir Mhanchán.

Suaimhneas síoraí dá anam.

It is with great sadness that Meath County Council receives the news today of the untimely death of Manchán Magan, writer, broadcaster, naturalist and Irish language advocate.

Manchán contributed tremendously to the cultural life of County Meath during his time as Creative Ireland Writer-in-Residence 2022-2023. We extend our sympathies to Manchán's family and loved ones.
