KREW CAMP 2026: Relive the Experience! 💙

The video of this year's KREW CAMP is now available! We invite you to watch it and relive some of the unforgettable moments shared by young people living with kidney disease during this special experience.

KREW CAMP is much more than a summer camp. It is an opportunity for young people from different European countries to meet, make new friends, share experiences and create lasting memories in a supportive environment. Through shared activities, new challenges and moments of connection, participants can build confidence, strengthen their independence and discover that they are part of a wider community that understands and supports them.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to France Rein for their valuable collaboration and support in making this year's camp possible. We also extend our thanks to everyone who contributed to organising the activities and creating such a welcoming and enriching experience for all participants.

Most importantly, thank you to all the young people who took part in KREW CAMP, brought their energy and enthusiasm, and made this experience so special. Your participation is at the heart of what makes this initiative so meaningful!

We hope you enjoy watching the video and revisiting these wonderful moments as much as we have enjoyed sharing them with you. ✨

We look forward to welcoming you all again next year for another unforgettable KREW CAMP! 🤝💙

On 13 October, the European Kidney People’s Federation (EKPF) participated in the European Kidney Forum 2026, organised by the European Kidney Health Alliance (EKHA) at the European Parliament in Brussels.

This year’s Forum focused on “Kidney Health Disparities – Addressing the Gender Gap”, bringing together policymakers, healthcare professionals, researchers and patient representatives to discuss the inequalities women face in kidney health, from prevention and early diagnosis to access to treatment, transplantation and long-term care.

As a member of EKHA, EKPF was pleased to contribute to this important discussion and reaffirm its commitment to advocating for equitable, patient-centred kidney care across Europe, ensuring that patients’ needs and experiences remain at the heart of European health policies.

We would like to thank EKHA for organising this important event and continuing to raise awareness of kidney health at the European level.

Together in Krakow: Connecting, Sharing and Moving Forward! 💙

Over the past two days in Krakow, we have had the opportunity to come together as a European kidney patient community, exchange experiences, discuss shared challenges and priorities, and strengthen our commitment to improving the lives of people living with kidney disease across Europe.

The Annual Summit and General Assembly have once again demonstrated the value of coming together, sharing knowledge and perspectives, building new connections and strengthening existing collaborations. These moments of dialogue and cooperation are essential to ensuring that the patient voice remains at the heart of our work and that, together, we can continue to make EKPF a stronger and more connected European network.

We would like to sincerely thank all our members, partners, sponsors and contributors who joined us in Krakow, for their active participation, openness and valuable contributions. Your experiences, ideas and commitment are what make these gatherings meaningful and help us move forward together.

A very special thank you goes to OSMN – Ogólnopolskie Stowarzyszenie Moje Nerki for their support and for helping us make this meeting possible here in Krakow. We greatly appreciate their hospitality, collaboration and commitment to the kidney patient community.

Finally, thank you to everyone who contributed to these two days of discussion, connection and collaboration. We leave Krakow with new ideas, strengthened relationships and renewed motivation to continue working together for kidney patients across Europe.

Thank you for being part of the EKPF community. We look forward to continuing this journey together! 💙
