“The Killester Garden Suburb - A unique urban development”
It will take place in St. John's Resource Centre on Clontarf Road at 7:30p.m. tonight, Monday, 8th June.

The next Clontarf Historical Society lecture will be by Cormac Moore, on The Sweetness of Lemon's - the family who had a house in Clontarf and a shop on O'Connell Street. It will take place in St. John's Resource Centre on Clontarf Road at 7:30p.m. tomorrow Monday, 11th May.

Clontarf Historical Society will be welcoming Sean Deegan to talk about "Ballybough in the shadow of Croker" tonight, Monday 13th April at 7:30p.m. in St. John's Resource Centre.

Admission is, as ever, free to members (€20 for individual membership or €30 for two from a family) and only €5 for visitors.

Just a reminder about out upcoming talks on the 1926 Census

The Irish Free State's first census was taken 100 years ago, in 1926. It will shortly be released for everyone to access on Saturday 18 April 2026. To help the public get ready to explore the Census records of their families, Raheny Heritage Society's Dr. Noel Carolan is providing 2 identical public talks over the coming days, entitled "Get Ready for the 1926 Census: The Past is Free!" in Raheny Library at 6.30 pm, on Thursday 26 March and Tuesday 31 March respectively.

Admission is free, but advance booking is essential. Please book via the QR codes attached on the poster or by phone to Raheny Library 01.222.8322.

The Irish Free State's first census was taken 100 years ago, in 1926. It will shortly be released for everyone to access on Saturday 18 April 2026.
