I arrived home tonight to find the Querrin Hill floral celebration of beauty destroyed. It was just coming to its best with Montbretia , Purple Loose Strive. , Willow Herb , Meadowsweet and many more looking forward to expressing their beauty for all the residents of Querrin. Why would anyone disappoint all the people and visitors to our community and mow down the edges of Our Road , this is not a hedgerow that may need some work but our roadway destroyed for no reason. Clare County Council two years ago handed over control of Querrin Hill to the residences to cut the hedgerows. Who has done this ignorant act ?
