Have you heard we are doing a new production written by our very own Anita Howard. Anita is a local person who is delighted to be helping raise funds for Passage West Maritime Museum .

The Right Spirit is set during a school reunion when a group of characters, brought together after twenty years apart, find themselves having to face up to difficult truths about their past and present lives, and the school experiences that formed their attitudes to life. The play’s darker side is mingled with laughter, brought out powerfully by our amazing actors and wonderful director Mary Foley. Proceeds from the performance will go to support Passage West Maritime Museum, and the play will be followed by the beautiful melodies of Allegro and Passage West Community Choir. We hope the inward journeys it portrays will go some way towards reflecting the voyages of heroism and discovery taken from this harbour over time.

As memories resurface and old friendships are rekindled,laughter,secrets, and long buried emotions emerge. Looking back on their school days, each woman is forced to reflect on the choices she made....and the life she might have lived.
