A huge turnout of athletes - almost 700 from post primary schools assembled in Ballinacree this morning for the annual Geraldine Dolan cross country events. Thankfully we were blessed with glorious sunshine which contributed to some fine running. Well done to all and congratulations to all prizewinners. Thanks to the teachers who gave of their time to support their athletes

Special congratulations to all our St Brigids athletes who competed today and helped St Oliver’s school win the overall title, the Geraldine Dolan cup. A big thank you to our coaches for their hard work and expertise.

Thanks to Martin Heery and all the volunteers who gave their time and dedication that ensured the event ran smoothly. Thanks too to St Brigids GFC for the use of their facilities.
