🚑 Training Night in Action 🚑

Tonight our Nobber Community First Responders put their skills to the test with a series of realistic, hands-on scenarios 💪

🧠 Scenario 1: Came in as a suspected stroke… but turned out to be a diabetic emergency — a great reminder of how quickly situations can change and the importance of thorough assessment.

🐝 Scenario 2: A 12-year-old with a bee sting and known allergies — the child’s mother administered the EpiPen, highlighting the importance of awareness and quick action in emergencies.

❤️ Scenario 3: Chest pain — sometimes it’s about the basics: taking a clear history, monitoring, and providing reassurance when it’s needed most.

These sessions are so important for building confidence, teamwork, and keeping our skills sharp for when it really matters.

And of course… no training night is complete without a debrief over tea and biscuits 🤣☕🍪

We were delighted to see such a great turnout and community support. Thank you to everyone who took the time to come along, learn vital lifesaving skills, and support the work of Nobber CFR.

A special thank you also to our volunteers and instructors who helped make the evening such a success.

Together, we are helping to build a safer and more prepared community. 🚑💚
