On behalf of the Newport Business Association , we’d like to wish everyone involved in the Féile Sheáin Mhic Pháidín - John McFadden Festival the very best for what promises to be a huge weekend in Newport.
Now in its fourth year, this festival has gone from strength to strength, growing year on year and bringing incredible energy, visitors, and music into our town. It’s fantastic to see Newport buzzing, with local businesses benefiting and the whole community coming alive.
A massive well done to the organisers, volunteers, musicians, and everyone who has helped make this happen. Events like this showcase the very best of Newport, community spirit, creativity, and collaboration.

The weather is set to clear, and Santa is clearly looking after us for a wonderful community day in Newport Mayo !🎄✨️😊🎅
Newport School Choir will be singing from 4.30–5.30, Santa will turn on the Christmas lights at 5.30pm, and the Tractor Run, in aid of the Newport St Patricks Day Parade and the Newport Christmas Lights will roll out afterwards 🚜🥳✨️

Support local, enjoy the atmosphere, pick up some Christmas shopping, and soak up the start of the festive season. We can’t wait to see everyone today. 🎄

✨ Newport Christmas Market, THIS SUNDAY! ✨

Newport Business Association are all set for a fantastic community day this Sunday, 7th December from 4pm–7pm in Newport!
The weather is looking dry and mild, so it’s the perfect chance to get out and support local.

⭐ Newport Christmas Market & Christmas Lights Switch On⛄❄🎅
⭐ Newport Christmas Tractor Run in aid of Newport St Patricks Day Parade !
⭐ Santa will be visiting!
⭐ Lights Switch-On by Santa and the Newport Christmas Lights Committee who have done once again the most beautiful job lighting up Newport Mayo
⭐ Newport National School Choir will be performing between 4.30–5.30pm 🎶
⭐ Over 20 local stalls, food, crafts and Christmas treats, and more!

The market is now full and we are not accepting any more stalls.
Insurance is mandatory this year. Only stalls already registered and covered by insurance can attend. Anyone who has not been in contact cannot be accommodated.

Bring the family, enjoy the festive atmosphere and support our brilliant local community. 🎄❤️

Congratulations to Mayo Dark Skies on a hugely successful Dark Skies Festival this past weekend! Something for all to enjoy and attend. The weekend was topped off by an amazing lantern walk and concert by Kila in St Patrick's Church. A visual, artistic, informative, learning and inspiring weekend enjoyed by so many! Thank you to all involved, roll on next year!✨⭐️💫

Wishing all at Mayo Dark Skies the very best this weekend at the Mayo Dark Sky Festival.
A weekend packed with plenty for young and old to learn about and enjoy our dark sky heritage.
Still time to sign up for events, including the finale event on Sunday evening with a Lantern Walk designed by artist Tom Meskell, and the festival concert at St. Patrick's Church by Kíla ✨️🎵

🎉 Wishing everyone a fantastic August Bank Holiday Weekend! 🎉

The Newport Business Association would like to extend a huge thank you and best wishes to the incredible organisers of the Newport Grainne Uaile Festival. Your hard work brings such life and energy to our beautiful town. it’s absolutely buzzing this weekend with music, fun, and a true sense of community! 🌞🎶

We also wish the Newport Sea Angling Club every success with their competitions over the weekend, yet another example of the vibrant clubs we’re so lucky to have here in Newport. 🎣🏆

Thank you to Newport Tidy Towns and Newport Handball Club, who were out bright and early this morning to tidy up and keep everything looking beautiful
