🪑 A Big Thank You to Our Tidy Towns Volunteers & Supporters! 🌸✨
Another fantastic community effort has come together to keep Newmarket looking its best!
A heartfelt thank you goes to our dedicated Tidy Towns volunteer who, after kindly painting the bench on Pound Hill, has now freshly painted an additional bench. The transformation is brilliant!

🤝 Community Teamwork in Action:
A sincere thank you to Drumm Carpentry, Kitchens & Wardrobes for generously supplying the timber for this project.

Bench Restoration: Thank you to another fantastic Tidy Towns volunteer who expertly repaired the bench and fitted the replacement timber.

This wonderful teamwork shows what community spirit is all about. Be sure to enjoy the freshly restored seating area next time you are passing by! 🙌💜

🧹 Tidy Monday Update: Monday 31st August! 🌿✨

Another brilliant Tidy Monday in the books for the Newmarket Tidy Towns team!

It was a busy evening right across the town, with fantastic work carried out across all tasks:

Weeding & Clean-Up: The crew got stuck into weeding and general clean-up along New Street.

Planters: Flowers were weeded and deadheaded to keep the town's displays blooming bright.

Litter Pick: A thorough litter pick was carried out to keep our streets spotless.

Bollards: Great work was done preparing and painting the black bollards, making a huge difference to the streetscape!

❤️ Community, Chats & Laughs
Beyond all the sweeping, weeding, and painting, what makes Tidy Monday so special is the amazing sense of community. There is nothing quite like catching up with neighbours, enjoying great chats, and, of course, sharing plenty of laughs while working together to keep our town looking its absolute best!

A huge thank you to every volunteer who came out to give a hand this evening! 🙌💛
