Just some of our after-schoolers planting native Irish trees today—a collection of birch, hazel, alder, and Scots pine, along with 10 willow trees that we’re placing at the entrance and calling Scarlet’s Way 😉.

Survey on Children and Young People’s Mental Health Needs

Dear colleague,
The Clare Children and Young Peoples Services Committee is embarking on an ambitious project to gather evidence on youth mental health needs in Co. Clare. The purpose of this initiative is to develop a business case which we can present to Government Departments to advocate for funding for a community based youth mental health service in Co. Clare. Currently there is no dedicated community based youth mental health service in Co. Clare for 12-24 year olds.
Part of the process is to gather the voices and experiences of young people in Clare and to include these in any future proposal. This is essential as it gives young people a chance to influence real change for their county.
We would ask that you circulate the attached information to young people in your school/centre/club that fall within the ages of 12-24 years old. If you have a distribution list of teachers/principals/guidance counsellors/youth workers who could also circulate it, please forward this e-mail onto them. It is open to students from 6th class upwards. We are hoping for a minimum of 300 responses.

GREAT NEWS COMMUNITY EFFORT And SCOOTER BACK With OWNER

An Electric scooter was picked up last night Thursday 21st at 12.20am by two people at O regan park as seen on cctv.. the owner of the scooter has contacted obair if the two people who picked up the scooter contact obair we can return to the owner .. thank you for you help ..061 368030 or dm
