New Ross SPCA The SPCA believes that man has a responsibility to care for the earth and all creatures on it. The society is run on a voluntary basis.

The New Ross Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (New Ross SPCA) has worked locally rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing animals. The aim is to secure for all animals as far as may be practicable, the following freedoms: -
• Freedom from hunger, thirst and malnutrition;
• Freedom from discomfort;
• Freedom from disease and injury;
• Freedom to behave normally;
• Freedom from distress and fear.
