We would like to thank everyone who came out in person and online to attend last night's Showcase, and those who were unable to attend but sent emails and messages of support.

The showcase really demonstrated the need for the programme to continue.

Cllr Michael Sheehan hosted a question and answer session to hear the stories of 7 people involved within the project. 3 individuals Freddie, Nathan and Dylan gave their experience and view of the project, that's 3 individuals out of 566 individuals supported in the 5 years.

Along with those 3 we had a teacher from Ramsgrange Community School Aisling Foley, a parent Anita Ronan, Vice Principal of Our Lady of Fátima Bridget Leacy and HSE Day Service Opportunities Officer Janet Ferguson.

Thank you to Sinéad Foskin General Manager Cumas New Ross and Karen Fitzgerald HSE
General Manager Disability Services South East Community Healthcare for their welcome and opening statements.

It was lovely to have a chat over a cup of tea with past, present and future individuals, families and other service providers. To hear and see everyone sharing their stories and experience's.

Thanks to the staff and the individuals committee in Cumas who helped with the set up and help on the night.

Thank you from the School Leavers Ability Project Team, Dayna, Aileen, Rory, Ciara and Amy
