Nenagh classic car club/Lough Derg 100 cars and coffee by the lake.

A cheque presentation function took place on Saturday evening outside the Green Bar, Borrisokane where representatives of the Nenagh Classic Car Club (NCC) handed over the proceeds of their 2026 Lough Derg 100 Classic Car Run to members of the committee of North Tipperary Hospice (NTH). The Club has become a valued and repeated supporter of the work of the Hospice and in particular Nenagh’s local Cancer Support Centre at Suaimhneas. We are grateful for this presentation of €7351.97 which will greatly assist in funding the proposed extension of the Suaimhneas Centre which, we hope, will get under way in the very near future. Our sincere thanks to the Club, its members and to everyone who took part in the run or purchased tickets in the raffle.

After seeing the amazing amount raised by this year's Lough Derg 100 it's only right to take a minute to recognise all the people that go into making an event like this a success.

From the kids that cut up the window stickers, the lads that cut the timber for the raffle, all the people that traveled to all the cars and coffee events around the country to promote the ld100, the people who put up the signage and gave out the posters, people who gave their time to sell tickets for the raffle, all that take part in the ld100 sponsorship cards and those who helped with photography and video photography.

Not to forget all the amazing local businesses that came onboard to support us this year. Especially Suir engineering with the incredible donation of €1000.

To some people cars are just a mode of transport. To others they are living breathing things of beauty. Bringing people from all walks of life together for a common interest,
and forming a community. So thanks again to all the friends and family that have given their time and effort to making Lough Derg 100 2026 the most successful LD100 to date.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻
