We are thrilled share that there are now 5 newly installed or updated life-saving automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in the Ardcroney, Kilruane and Cloughjordan areas👏

After a successful fundraising drive by the Newtown Community Defib Group, which was well supported by the community, the group raised enough funds to replace a defibrillator located at Barry’s Pub in Newtown and to add a second defibrillator within the community at Youghal Quay.

💥Defibs For Life Nenagh would like to thank the local community of Newtown for supporting the World Cup fundraiser to ensure these vital pieces of equipment in the local area at Barry's Pub and Youghal Boatyard.

❤️ NINE members of our fantastic partner group in Roscrea, Hennessy's totalhealth Pharmacy staff including myself Criona from Defibs For Life Nenagh are taking part in the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon this Sunday to raise much needed funds for new defibrillators in the area and their upkeep. Are you involved in any sports or other community group?
Do you have children? Do you live with someone over-50?
Would you know what to do in an emergency where a Defibrillator could be used?
We invite you to join this free workshop.

Supported by Boher Community Development and Water Safety Ireland, Ita Richardson, Water Safety Ireland Instructor and Examiner will run this drop-in workshop for anyone who is interested in learning or refreshing their knowledge of CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation) and Defibrillator use. This is a free event - you can join at any time during the session - where there will be training equipment for you to use. Ita will show you a Defibrillator and discuss how you can access local equipment if needed.

All are welcome.

We’re delighted to share that two community defibrillators have now been successfully reinstalled in Ardcroney supported by .

These lifesaving devices are once again in place and ready for use if ever needed. Having accessible defibrillators in the community can make a critical difference in an emergency, giving someone the best possible chance of survival before medical help arrives.

A huge thank you to Noel Coonan who is involved along with a community group in maintaining and supporting these vital resources. 👏
