Men’s Aid Ireland was honoured to meet with colleagues from the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and to have such a positive conversation about how we can work more closely together.

We greatly value the important work carried out by IACP and its membership in supporting individuals, families and communities across Ireland. There is a natural alignment between our organisations, particularly in strengthening understanding and professional responses to domestic violence and coercive control and ensuring that victim-survivors can access informed and appropriate support.
It was a great opportunity to share more about our work and to explore how Men’s Aid can support IACP members through training and awareness, including around the experiences of male victim-survivors.
We look forward to building on this relationship, working with IACP and its wider membership, and finding meaningful ways to collaborate in the months ahead.
