Last Friday, we had the honour of attending World Refugee Day in Drogheda as the Thai and Asian Community Group, represented by Jinnicha in her role as Chairperson, and Lussel Ocampos representing the Philippine community leaders, following an invitation from Louth Development. 📚🌍

It was a privilege to read the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and stand in solidarity with refugees and displaced people around the world. 🕊️🤝

We also share these powerful words from the Mayor of Drogheda, Cllr Declan Power:

“Diversity is not easy: it takes time and effort. But one simple thing everyone can do is show kindness.” 💙

A reminder that even small acts of kindness help create more inclusive, welcoming, and compassionate communities. 🌎✨
