We had a great afternoon today entertaining the crowd in Slane. Always an appreciative audience, and the weather stayed kind as well ☀️🎶

Big thanks to the Slane Tidy Towns team for helping to organise the event and set up the playing area.

We'd also like to thank our guest players: Neal, Kirsty, Calum and Michael from Drogheda Brass Band, Cathal and Brian from Lourdes Brass Band, and Barry from The Stedfast Band 👏👏

If you're anywhere near Slane today, swing by and catch us playing by the Ledwidge Mural from 2:30 to 4:30pm 🎶

What a day!!! 2nd place in the Irish National Band Championships for a 2nd consecutive year, and the Best Instrumentalist award for our outstanding Solo Euphonium player, Shane Smith.
We delivered a brilliant performance of our testpiece, Friendly Takeover by Oliver Waespi, to score 95 points out of 100.
Congratulations to our friends at Drogheda Brass Band for their victory, and outstanding performance in taking 1st place 👏
And congratulations to all the bands that took part in a brilliant day in Ardee 🎶

In just 8 days time, the band will be heading to Ardee to take part in the National Band Championships of Ireland once more.
We've been hard at work preparing the test-piece, and we're really looking forward to catching up with all the other bands on the day.
Do come along to the Bohemian Centre, Ardee on May 9th and lend us your support 🏆🎶

(Any resemblance to actual band members or supporters is purely coincidental 😆)
