Established in Ireland in 1947, Youth For Christ (YFC) Ireland seeks to help young people better understand life and the Christian faith.

Programmes can be valuable tools. But people carry the mission.

At Youth for Christ Ireland, we use retreats, Alpha, sport and youth events to create opportunities. But the real impact comes through relationships: local people choosing to walk alongside young people with patience, faith, and love.

We want to help local churches and communities create more of those spaces across Ireland.

Not every young person will walk through a church door.

But many will step into a school retreat, join a football event, come along to a youth night, or simply sit down for a conversation over food.

Mission often begins before a young person ever enters a church building. It begins through welcome, consistency, relationship, and someone remembering their name.

That is why local mission matters: meeting young people where they already are.
