Looking for a fantastic family evening this June? Why not take a trip to Granard and experience An Ghrian Ard – Festival of the Sun at the Knights & Conquests Heritage Centre on Saturday, 20th June. This free event celebrates the summer solstice with an evening of music, performances, fire art, food, crafts and family fun. Entry is completely free and activities include live music, face painting, a bouncy castle, fire performers and a spectacular bonfire. The event takes place from 6pm to 10pm.

🚌 Heading into Ballymahon?

Route WH15 is a handy Local Link service for people travelling from the Newtowncashel area into Ballymahon.

The route serves Lisnacush, Newtowncashel, Forthill, Drumnacor, Rathmore and Ballymahon. With stops in Formoyle, Carrowbeg, Ballyrevagh and Aghnacross available also.

This is a demand responsive service (DRT), so where possible, the bus may be able to collect you from beside your home and drop you back again. This is subject to road conditions and must be pre-arranged by contacting us at 044 934 0801 with your Eircode.

📍 Travelling to Ballymahon: Fridays from 10:45 (departing Lisnacush)
📍 Returning from Ballymahon: Fridays from 13:00 (departing Ballymahon)

Seats need to be booked the day before you travel.

🟢 The service is wheelchair accessible, Free Travel Passes are accepted, and children under 5 travel free.
