A walk the length of the Bog track we recorded 174 butterflies of 10 different species, including 68 Peacocks, 41 Painted Lady’s, a Silver-washed Fritillary (our largest butterfly) and Small Copper. Also Brown Hawker dragonflies. Well worth a visit while the important source of nectar, Knapweed, is still in flower.
