It was a truly festive and heartwarming morning at the Multicultural Women's 'Global Village' Breakfast! It was an absolute joy to gather with so many incredible ladies from every corner of the world, filling the room with vibrant energy and deeply engaging conversations.
The room was alive with pride and culture touring the spectacular displays put together by the representatives from China, Germany, India, Japan, Kenya, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Russia, Tanzania, Türkiye, Ukraine, and Yemen. Each table offered a wonderful window into the traditions and beauty of the homeland.
Hearts were lifted by the incredible entertainment:
The fabulous, soulful singing performance by Anna Nedoskina from Ukraine.
17 ladies modelled their brilliant traditional costumes at the very colourful fashion show celebrating global style.
Marvellous, high-energy dance performances by both the Japanese ladies and the Moving Skirts troupe, which had the entire room dancing.
Everyone sang-along holding hands to the famous song ‘When Irish Eyes Are Smiling’ and was absolutely terrific to see the infectious spirit of unity!
To top off an already perfect event, we were treated to a magnificent feast, getting the opportunity to taste all the delicious, authentic flavours of the world generously prepared by the attendees.
A profound thank you to everyone who helped with organising it, the volunteers who contributed, the performers, and all the attendees. This gathering was a beautiful reminder that while we come from different backgrounds, our shared community is bound by friendship, warmth, and mutual respect.
